Rubitection

Rubitection is an early stage medical device start up. We are addressing the clinical limitations of early pressure ulcer (PU) assessment by developing a low cost monitoring tool called the Rubitect Assessment System (RAS). The RAS is a innovative, low cost, and disruptive system that allows any care giver to reliably monitor changes in the skin to personalize PU care and catch a PU before its apparent. The RAS can be used with minimal training by an aid or a RN. It can be used to support consistency in the continuum of care from home care, nursing homes, to hospitals. Our ultimate goal is to develop the RAS into a low cost consumer product that can be used in the global healthcare market to prevent bedsores and help families and professionals manage care.
