About Me

Coming from a background in mathematics, I want to change the way people think about math, science, and technology in the world. I am especially interested in ethics and best practices in machine learning, including research on privacy and consent, transparency and interpretability, and autonomy and responsibility. Research needs to be paired more closely with dissemination practices, and new interactive educational technology is an important part of this process. I work extensively with programming exercises which can be automatically evaluated and have created educational games. I hope to continue exploring the most engaging parts of learning through gameplay.
