I’ve been doing clever things with computers ever since I discovered how to shatter the backboard in “Dr. J and Larry Bird Go One on One”. For a while professionally it was a lot of multimedia, game development, user interface and engineering of content management systems. Now it’s healthcare, specifically electronic medical records and the sharing and exchange of. I used to call myself a serial startup guy but I suppose I can no longer get away with that having spent the last decade building J2 Interactive in to a place for people looking for what I like to call “the last suit you’ll ever wear” job. (No, of course we don't actually wear suits.) In addition to occasionally being allowed to still code, break and design things, I spend most of my time helping our over one hundred employees realize their full potential. We have a lot of talented people at J2 who everyday are solving problems in brilliant ways. My job is to do whatever it takes to ensure that all of our staff and clients benefit from the best of these ideas.
