Dr. Gulzar H. Shah, Ph.D., MStat, MS, is a Professor and the Department Chair at the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health, Georgia Southern University. Dr. Shah currently serves as the Associate Editor of the BMC Public Health, and as the Consulting Editor for the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice. His interdisciplinary training and multisector work experience spans over 20 years, with appointments in both academia and public health practice agencies, nationally and internationally. His research interests include data improvement tools; practice-based PHSSR; eHealth and public health informatics; public health finances; and maternal and child health. Dr. Shah is a trained PHAB site visitor.
