About Me

Joseph Choi is an emergency physician at the University Health Network in Toronto, ON, Canada, and he is an assistant professor and clinician in quality and innovation at the University of Toronto. He has a Master of Public Health with a focus in healthcare management and policy. He has an interesting in leveraging health informatics and artificial intelligence to improve hospital operations, provider clinical decision making, and patient outcomes. Through his academic work, he also founded Hypercare, a mobile platform for provider and patient communication and collaboration to improve care efficiency and prevent patients from falling through the cracks.
