About Me
Hi everyone, I’m Jamie. I’m a pharmacist, and I’ve spent the last several years working in a busy community pharmacy where no two shifts really look the same. One afternoon I might be helping an older patient sort out a confusing medication schedule, and an hour later I’m checking a prescription, calling a doctor’s office about a dosage question, or explaining to a parent how to measure a liquid medicine correctly. What I enjoy most about pharmacy is the small problem-solving moments that happen behind the counter. I’ve learned that knowing the medication is only half of the job; you also need to listen carefully, notice when something doesn’t quite add up, and explain things in a way that makes sense to the person standing in front of you. I’m particularly interested in medication safety, drug interactions, and making everyday pharmacy advice less intimidating. Outside of work, I like cooking, exploring new places to eat, and finding ways to switch off after a long day on my feet. "Good pharmacy care starts with good questions."
