The three things that highlight me most as a person are my interpersonal skills, coachability, and positivity. I grew up in a large family that was often divided by religion and culture so I have learned to communicate well with different types of people and relate on many levels. Playing football all my life helped me become more coachable, I take pride in one particular story from playing college ball. My position coach, a former NFL star, told me, "chase, you'll never be the strongest, biggest or fastest, but you will always be the best player on the field because of your ability to listen, learn, and then implement." My positivity is what sets me apart from everyone else. Something from sports, family, and just the trials of life gave me the unique ability to be able to never let one situation stop me. I think a Michael Jordan quote sums this up for me the best; he said, "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
