About our project

The problem we solve: 1. Outbreaks are commonly associated with shower heads Epidemiological studies indicate that Shower head is an ideal environment for Legionella. Low levels of chlorine, accumulation of scale and organic material in the shower head create an ideal environment for Legionella. All the existing solutions such as Washing water pipes with high levels of chlorine are solutions that do not work continuously 2. The data indicate that in about half of the shower heads, Legionella bacteria is detected at a concentration higher than the permissible, when Legionella is detected the institution is required to perform an expensive disinfection process and then make a re-test to verify success of disinfection, this procedure take a lot of man hours and is very costly (Tens of thousands of $ each year).

About our solution: ? Continuous disinfection of the shower head, when water stops. System prevents Legionella and another bacteria accumulation. ? Small sized disinfection unit (chlorine tablet) operates only when water stops. ? By preventing air entering the shower head we minimize aerosols that transmit the Legionella, minimize chlorine oxidization and preventing scale and organic sediments. ? The silicon valves preventing from air enters to the shower head which minimize aerosols that transmit the Legionella. ? Minimize chlorine oxidization. ? Preventing scale and organic sediments.

We designed product for marketing.

The chlorine & PH test results show that Legionella  and other bacteria will not survive.

Some companies and hospitals are already interested in buying and using the safe shower head.

How We Help Hospitals

Hospitals and Hotel are required by regulation, to perform a routinely (between once and four times a year) examination to detect Legionella in the bathing water. How we will use the funds raised

The profits from the initial stage sales will enable Safe Shower to expand and increase production.

Revenue will come from the sale of individual units and the sale of service agreements with hotels and hospitals, each unit generating revenue of $ 50 - $ 80 per showerhead.

We expect revenues of $ 1,250,000 during the first two years, based on a sale of 25,000 units. In order to achieve this goal, Safe Shower will invest $ 100,000 in marketing each year aimed at obtaining direct customers, distributors and cooperation, we aim to establish a cooperation with a well-known manufacturer brands (such as Delta, Hansgrohe, etc.) in the field of shower heads to promote us in the private market.

Let's imagine a situation in which Safe Shower sign a service agreement with only 1 out of 10 hospitals, retirement home and hotels in Israel (total estimation of 50,000 shower heads), we are expected to yield 350,000$ per year. Based on 70$ fee per shower head per year in a 3-year service agreement and with a profitability of 150$ (per service agreement) we expect a ROI period of less than 3 years.
