Have you ever been grossed out walking around your health club’s pool or showers? Slip on our antifungal biodegradeable Pedi Gloves to be safe. Pedi Gloves offer safe and convenient protection to preserve foot health in public places such as showers, locker rooms and pools.
What are Pedi Gloves?
The Pedi Glove is like a foot condom. It is a single use, biodegradable, disposable, close fitting, anti-fungal, latex membrane worn under the sock when in shoes or on the bare foot when in public showers, pools, or locker rooms. Pedi Gloves can also be worn under socks to provide a continuous anti-fungal treatment.

Clinical Proof:
One of the main goals of this project is to produce enough prototypes to use in a clinical trial. I am seeking $8,900 to complete the product design and development and to conduct tests for safety, efficacy, and reliability.
While we are confident we can achieve a high quality, effective, and marketable product based on similar products already FDA approved and in the marketplace (surgical gloves and condoms specifically), we need enough promising results to move forward into creating a full production model.
We already have a Provisional Patent for the Pedi Glove in hand and we have a specific proposal from Polytech Synergies LLC in Akron OH to produce the prototype as specified in the patent.
Here are the goals for the use of funds and for the clinical testing of the device:
- Use existing latex dipping forms to create an initial set of Pedi Gloves for testing
- After proof of feasibility using existing forms, create Pedi Glove forms
consistent with the company’s design
- Produce an adequate number of samples to test with users
Testing:
*Safety: We are designing a ribbed pattern into the sole of the glove so that it will be less slippery than bare feet
*Biodegradability: We expect the product to meet the same standards of biodegradability as latex surgical gloves in land fills. Our anti-fungal formula is a completely natural and biodegradable formula.
*Usability: We will test for a proprietary method for dealing with foot perspiration if needed.
*Usability: We will develop a sizing model.
How Pedi Gloves Help Patients
Pedi Glove will give a range of patients a sense of greater security for their health.
*Mothers can ensure their children are protected in locker rooms and swimming pools at schools.
*Patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, circulatory conditions, and immune deficiency conditions may be at higher risk of fungal infections.
*Swimmers, fishermen and other recreational sports enthusiasts can enjoy their hobbies without compromising their health.
*Construction workers and other workers that must wear closed toe boots that promote foot sweating and contribute to foot fungal infections
How We Help Doctors:
Doctors will have a simple, convenient tool for treating foot fungal infections for all of their patients and preventing the spread of disease.
How We Will Spend Your Contributions:
The funds will be used to produce an initial pair of latex Pedi Gloves from existing forms, produce new forms in three sizes based on the design of the patent, develop the proprietary formula for a biodegradable anti-fungal agent built into the product, and to produce an adequate number of samples for clinical testing and review.
