The problem we solve: Affordable access to quality care is essential to achieve good health. Insurance increases access to preventive and primary care and promotes positive outcomes. Lack of insurance presents a challenge to 61,500 uninsured and underserved residents of Orleans Parish, who experience suboptimal healthcare due to cost of services and medications, cultural and language differences. Insurance does not guarantee access, but social and economic conditions, lack of resources and proximity to assets directly impact the ability to receive care. Community need assessments have identified barriers to care as affordability/cost, transportation, lack of insurance, coverage and services information, comfort with provider and services, ability to obtain an appointment, and lack of insurance. A robust healthcare network supports access to care in the area. Hoy Health will promote a digital ecosystem solution to address the identified barriers and improve access to healthcare services.
About our solution:
Hoy Health is a health-tech company who proposes an integrated, comprehensive and innovative approach to access of affordable health and wellness needs through the promotion of cash-based digital ecosystem solutions, with high quality and low-cost products and services, that will provide affordability to all consumers with a self-pay model to preventive and primary care needs without the support of a third-party payor. Hoy Health has developed technology tools that allow engage consumers to help navigate their journey into wellness, preventive care and chronic condition management with a better, faster and more cost-effective health and wellness solutions delivered via technology facilitated care models. Hoy Health will address the patient’s identified barriers, with dignity, respect, and compassion, through education, engagement and population health solutions which are not easily addressable by current trends.

date:Hoy Health is a health-tech company founded in 2017. Hoy Health have launched 5 products, including a telehealth/EHR (HoyDOC) app; Chronic Condition Management/Peripherals/education (HoyCCM/HoyLIFE); and two pharmacy programs, a prepaid voucher for 3,700 genetic medications (HoyRX), and discount Rx card accessible in 62,000 pharmacies across the US. Hoy Health is collaborating with clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, associations, and unions who have identified the value that Hoy Health brings to healthcare. Hoy Health is in the domestic (US and Puerto Rico - 2018) and international (Mexico, Central/South America - 2019/Asia and Africa - 2020) market. The community in general have highly embraced Hoy Health as a real solution to the present healthcare issues. Hoy Health has developed technology tools that allow engage consumers to help navigate their journey into wellness, preventive care and chronic condition management with a better, faster and more cost-effective health and wellness solutions delivered via technology facilitated care models. Hoy Health will address patients with education, engagement and population health challenges which are not easily addressable by current trends, with dignity, respect and compassion.
